Well, first and foremost I want to thank
everyone who took the time to enter the contest. YouÆre all cresent
fresh!
The random prize drawing winner was Aiya

>>Credit where credit is due: I downloaded
the spiffy font, Retro Bats One from The
Font Library. Gads of nifty fonts to be had there, so check æem
out. Umà other than the heads, everything else was made / designed by yours
truly. Please donÆt rip off my designs, eh? IÆll be eternally grateful.
>>Complaints: Sob, sob, sob. If you
look through the pages, youÆll prolly notice that I only received 2 fan
fics? NO Essays? I was a little disappointed over that one, peeps. Maybe
I should have named it differently? Where you all put off by the sound
of actualà essay work? Bad school flashbacks, maybe? Color me confused,
I thought writing a little blurb on why you like Saitou would be easy.
I based this assumption on the fact that I constantly receive awesome Saitou
praise/gushing/etc. from mibu no ookami visitors. The fan art was a little
better. I was pleased to get some last minute entries there. * sigh * I
take blame, though, because I feel I could have better advertised the thingà
>>Upbeat: The way I look at it all
is as a learning experience. I donÆt in any way regret holding it, because
I really did love getting all the entries in. Those of you who entered
are my new best friends ^_~ I was also pleased to be able to give
out some prizes, and telling people they won. That was lot's of fun.
Anyway, you can all check out the sneak peek page to see some of the changes
IÆve decided to make for next year.
>>Prize complaint: I have only one
complaintà The person who agreed to airbrush the T-shirt for me backed
out on me and kept my money. Yup, I was ripped off, big time. Firstly,
I placed the order for the shirt back in AUGUST! I knew the person
had a busy schedule, but I also own a piece of his work, which was very
cresÆ, so I chose him to do the shirt. I was assured it would be doable
on several occasions, and then was told out of nowhere at the end of October
that the shirt couldnÆt be done with no excuses as to why. I sent
a few polite emails, some scathing emails (yes, I can be a mega beatch
when I wantà Rei and Milinar can attest to my evil side ^_^) but received
no reply. My one consolation is that the people have since gone out of
business! Xtreme Air Mania
is no more, so none of you have to worry about getting ripped off like
I did.
